Winter Warmer Day

​The school captains asked for an exemption to wear school uniform today to counter the cold, windy day predicted. Students may wear their slipers, ugg boots, PJ's, beanies and scarves and rug up. I can't wait to see the slippers I haev been hearing about!

​Athletics day program - Tuesday 14th July. We invite parents and family members to join us. Sausage sizzle available, hot chocolate, tea & coffee or bring a picnic lunch to have with your child. It will be a great day  - but rug up!

Athletics Carnival today cancelled.

Due to unpredictable wet weather, athletics carnival postponed to First Tuesday back Term 3, 14th July.

Congratulations to all Student Leaders.

​School Captains, Vice Captains, Arts and Enviro Captains, Sports House Captains have been invested into their leadership rolls at assesmbly and proudly take up office. Class student council and enviro reps were also inducted into  their roles. We wish them a successful year.

​Education Queensland will advise if schools are to be closed due to the severe weather conditions experienced across the state. At this stage CSS is open. Listen to your local radio for updates or go to School Closure web site

Tuckshop opens again.

​Tuckshop days remain on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. A new menu is out to look forward to.

Orders can be placed over the counter or students can place their order written on a paper bag with the money enclosed in the class tuckshop box.

Welcome back to the 2015 school year.

​It was delightful to see eager and happy faces ready for another exciting year of learning and achieving. We specially welcome new students and their families and our new staff.

Gotcha Awards

​Congratulations to Annie M in Senior Green who is the first recipient of a Silver Gotcha Award and on her way to a Golden Gotcha. A number of other students are fast catching up as they have completed their Bronze Level. Gotchas are awarded for students who are noticed doing the right thing and making our school a safe, happy, respectful learning place. Just what we want it to be!
